Why do you think Aslan is portrayed as a lion?
I tell you, the symbolism in this Film is simply awesome.

Think of the Times Aslan sacrifices himself on the Stone table only to rise from the dead, who does it bring to mind?
Our God is also known as the Lion of Judah, with a heart of courage for His people.
Rev 5:5 Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals."
And because He has fought valiantly for me,
I shall, by His Love and Strength
Also, Be a lion for His People,
Whom He loves...
